Sad Keanu
Vulture: Youâre taking over the Internet. Have you seen all the âSad Keanuâ stuff out there?
Keanu: My publicist showed me the photo, but no.
Vulture: Thereâs not one photo. There are millions. Youâre Photoshopped next to kittens and into Pulp Fiction and next to the cast of The Breakfast Club, and in a million different ways. Have you seen those?
Keanu: Oh, thatâs funny! No, no, I havenât seen them.
Vulture: There are millions, really. Google âSad Keanu.â You havenât?
Keanu: [Laughs.] No.

âThe âSad Keanuâ meme has been the gift that keeps on giving these past few months⌠but apparently he hadnât [heard of it] until he sat down with Vulture for an interview at the Woodstock Film Festival last weekend. âŚÂ
Reeves then goes on to say the meme sounds like âgood clean fun,â and that itâs âconceptually funny.â Self-deprecating and a friend of the internet? Iâm gonna go ahead and say it: Keanu Reeves is an American hero.âÂ

New favourite blog. Also their favicon is the FailWhale. Instant win.

Weâve all been there â awake at midnight at tempted to @reply to some ridiculous thing that 50 Cent just tweeted. Hilarious Tweets Sent by Unknown Tweeters to Famous People (or HTTFP, as they call themselves) is a Tumblr blog that collects images of just that type of tweet.
âCause, come on, we all know Justin Bieber isnât reading about how youâre in school and looking at a poster of him, and someone needs to appreciate your gesture.
Printing Facebook
âEver thought to yourself: hey I would love to have all my Facebook friendsâ profile pictures printed on one giant poster and decorate my living room wall with it? Yeah, me neither, but perhaps if youâd learn that you could do it, maybe youâd consider it.
Enter Printing Facebook, which, well, lets you print all your Facebook friendsâ profile picture on one giant poster for you to decorate that living room wall with:

âArtist Benjamin Lotan, who cooked up his âFriend Posterâ thing just in time for the opening weekend of The Social Network, says this is only the first product in a series of many to comeâââin an email he says an option to print out your Tumblr blog will be out next.
I really hope for his sake thereâs an audience for thatâââI can somewhat imagine people willing to order print-outs of their Facebook social graph, but their blogs?
I also hope for his sake that Facebook wonât throw a hissy fit over his use of the âFacebookâ trademark in his website and serviceâs name, and for borrowing the look and feel of the Facebook site.â
-Printing Facebook Gives A Whole New Meaning To The Term Facebook Wall

It is well established that robots are one of my favourite things. The tumblrbot is an awesome robot.
So thank heavens for Zuckerbergâs startling lack of basic social niceties. If he had even a sliver of self-awareness, Facebook would have never existed. If Zuckerberg hadnât been dumped, none of us would be able to keep in touch with people from school with whom we deliberately lost contact a decade ago, or - worse - we would, but on Myspace.

Brother-Sister-Blog-Bonding
Note from 2022 Rachel: My brother no longer blogs that Iâm aware of and these links no longer work, but he does continue to be hilarious.
â
My brother is always hilarious, that is undeniable. But this article is so honest, and speaks to something I agree with so wholeheartedly, that I had to share it with you all. This is my soul friends; my soul.
This moment of brother-sister-blog-bonding is brought to you by cookie dough ice cream.
In this world, there are many things I love. Women, for example; good poetry, a nice beer, video games, proper grammar, BatmanâŚ
But of all the things I love in this world, few give me as much immediate joy as cookie dough ice cream. This may be caused by my intense affection for cookies and milk, which indeed is, inarguably, the king of all deserts; nonetheless, there is something about the perfect marriage between raw food stuffs and icy delicious sugar that cannot be beaten.
Oh! Also shirts.
Shirts are pretty rad.

This year marks the first time that I have experienced frosh week as a post-graduate, and the first time I have been at a university that takes it seriously.
These measures do not seem extreme to me. Â PHD Comics: Fall outbreak
