“Before he was a children’s book author, Theodore Seuss Geisel (aka ‘Dr. Seuss’) created illustrations for magazine and internal advertisements for companies like Ford, Holly Sugar, NBC, and many more. The Advertising Artwork of Dr. Seuss has catalogued these delightful ads online, which is a project of the Mandeville Special Collections Library at the University of California, San Diego (where the Dr. Seuss Collection lives).”

I always say each new cafeaulady is my favourite, but this one really is my favourite!

Squeeeeee! I love the dog’s face on our first custom order at cafeauladies!

Our new cafe au lady is up! Art, as always, is fantastic and is by Kora.

Found this in my purse so I have no idea how old it is. Wonder if anybody ever caught this typo or if they’re still printed this way.

The latest Cafe au Lady is my favourite one yet! Kora, you’re a genius!

Yesterday I went to order a drink at Starbucks - a Tall Blonde (roast) Misto with Soy - and it occurred to me that it sounded more like a description of a woman than a drink order. I told my friend Kora, who was super interested in the idea! This is amazing because now I’m coming up with drink orders and she’s drawing super amazing ladies, and then I get to write about them after! It’s actually the most fun and the art is, as is usual with Kora, so amazing. Check out Cafe au Ladies!

Sailor Moon is getting revamped for 2013, so here’s me celebrating with a Moon Prism Doodle.
You wish your friends were as talented as mine.
Well, I love this an unreasonable amount. (via laughingsquid)
