Whenever I’m writing a paper there are two albums I can’t get enough of: The Shepherd’s Dog, by Iron & Wine, and Wincing the Night Away, by the Shins. I become obsessed with these albums whenever I’m working. I couldn’t tell you why, but playing them back to back on a loop is how I have written every paper since my third year of undergrad. At this point the association with essay writing is so strong that I can’t listen to them if I’m not working, or I start to feel like I’m procrastinating.

It’s such a shame, because the only problem I have with the Palm Pre is the hardware. I love webOS, it is so far the best phone OS that I’ve ever used. But I really dislike the shape and overall feel of the hardware. 

New pictures and specs of the Palm Pre 2: 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM | PreCentral.net: This is not impressive at all and really not what most of the WebOS community wanted.  If Palm is to survive in the mobile arena the it will need to come up with much better hardware than the Pre. - techflux
