Life goes on.
As in the above photograph of New Yorkers clustered outside a closed Starbucks coffee shop to take advantage of its working wi-fi post-Sandy, life along the Eastern Seaboard will slowly return to normal even as storm cleanup continues in the weeks to come.
Tomorrow, the New York Stock Exchange is set to re-open after two days of being closed, a spokesman said.
Officials are pondering whether the New York City Marathon, scheduled for next weekend, will continue as planned. “The New York Road Runners is moving ahead with everything we can do to be on the way to putting on a great marathon this Sunday,” a spokesman told the New York Times.
One massive question of scheduling and moving on to life as usual, however, still lingers: Will Hurricane Sandy delay the election?

Things That the Internet Has Not Yet Learned are Undesirable
Being asked to sign up for a site’s newsletter before I’ve even viewed the link I clicked on. (Those annoying pop ups that ask me to sign up for your newsletter as soon as I click on to your site are most likely to convince me never to visit you again.)
- Being asked to log in to a site that does not have any conceivable reason to require a log in.
- Being asked to log in to a site with Facebook Connect
- Being repeatedly asked to like content on Facebook
- Being asked to let a site post things automatically to Facebook
- Being asked to download an app of a website just because I’m visiting it from my phone.
- Being asked to look at Google Plus. For any reason. Ever.
